Security (of information, not of the person)

Security (of information, not of the person)

Chapter 22 — Human rights • Paragraph 9 • §22.00.09.00

Because all humans receive a name and a citizenship from their state (and are thus individualised), this information needs to remain secure, free from any tampering, at least for the duration of the human’s life (and for a short time thereafter, see also §14.00.04 and §15.00.06). Security of information (see also §14.00.12) may cover, particularly in developed societies, all information about the person, the creation of which was made possible by the state (personal information, see §01.00.08.01, and also §14.00.00); not only name and citizenship, but also family life, academic and professional achievements, and so on.
